SoftBank sees $ 544 million loss on Paytm exit

MUMBAI: SoftBank’s Vision Fund 1 has recorded a gross loss of $544 million on its $1.6-billion investment in Paytm, the Japanese tech investment giant said on Wednesday. SoftBank, which held about 18% stake in Paytm at the time of its IPO, has exited the company.
