CSAB will conduct two special rounds of seat allocation to fill the unfilled seats in the NIT+ System after JoSAA Round 5. According to the information, after five rounds of counselling, a total of 13,500 seats are vacant across 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, 3 Schools of Planning and Architecture, and 37 GFTIs, collectively called the NIT+ System, this year.

CSAB Special Round 2024: Steps to register
Candidates can follow these steps to register for the special round:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., csab.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, candidates are requested to click on the link that reads, ‘Go to CSAB Special’.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Now, click on the link that reads, ‘Online Registration and Choice Filling for CSAB Special Round 2024’.
Step 5: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application.
Step 7: Pay the registration fee and click on submit.
