Triumph Speed 400 T4:
While the motorcycle largely remains unchanged in terms of design, it gets significant changes to its hardware and engine. It draws its power from a 399 cc, single-cylinder engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. However, this motor now makes 31 hp and 36 Nm – a significant reduction of 9 hp and 1.5 Nm as compared to the Speed 400.
The motorcycle comes equipped with a slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, USB charging port and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. For suspension duties, it is equipped with a 43mm telescopic front fork instead of the USD units used in its bigger sibling. Riders can choose from three colour options: Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red, and Phantom Black.

Triumph Speed 400 MY25:
Building on the success of the Speed 400 and Scrambler, the duo which has sold over 60,000 units globally since its debut last year, the manufacturer has also updated the former. The 2024 version of the Speed 400 features performance enhancements, including high-profile radial tyres, adjustable levers for brake and clutch, and a more comfortable seat with thicker cushioning.
Besides that, the Speed 400 retains its 398cc engine, delivering 40 hp and 37.5 Nm of peak torque. With these changes, the Speed 400 has now become dearer by Rs 15,000 as the new sticker price for the updated model is at Rs 2.40 lakh, ex-showroom. Bookings for both models have begun, and deliveries are expected to commence soon.
