Yezdi Motorcycles recently launched the updated version of its ADV motorcycle, the Adventure. We had the chance to test it in Pune, taking it beyond the typical off-road tracks. Instead of slush and mud tracks, we opted for real-world conditions. We rode the Yezdi Adventure for 85 km through constant rain and a challenging route with twists and turns to see how it performs in real-world conditions. Here’s a breakdown of our riding experience.
2024 Yezdi Adventure: Design
Starting with the design first, the Yezdi Adventure remains largely the same, it now includes a sleeker tank rail that has helped in weight reduction. The overall appearance hasn’t changed much, but the fit and finish of the materials used have seen a noticeable improvement. Overall, its muscular stance, coupled with long-running sleek elements, gives it a drool-worthy look for an adventure enthusiast. Build quality is solid, with attention to detail evident in the finishes.

2024 Yezdi Adventure: Changes
Before we move forward to the riding experience, let’s quickly discuss the changes that have been made to the motorcycle. The updated Adventure includes internal changes to the 334 cc engine, which now puts out 29.6 hp and 29.8 Nm. That means that the power has gone down marginally but the torque remains the same.

Besides that, the exhaust system has been rerouted (now centrally) for better heat dissipation, while the bike’s weight has been reduced by 4.5 kg. Additionally, the suspension damping and seat padding have been updated, maintaining a seat height of 815 mm.
2024 Yezdi Adventure: Riding experience
Like mentioned before, instead of testing the motorcycles on the designated off-road tracks or going for a quick highway run, we headed to some local villages. And in the hindsight, we believe there’s no better choice one could’ve made on that particular day, with that particular machine. Now, coming back to the topic in hand, the ride experience. Due to several quick turns and twists on the route, non-tarmac pathways, and numerous ups and downs, we were not able to test the motorcycle in its full top-end potential.
As for the ergonomics, the ADV’s upright riding position ensures a relaxed posture for long journeys. The handlebars are perfectly positioned for optimal control and comfort. Overall, the positioning and comfort is impressive and it can be used on both city streets and beyond.

Despite the challenges at low speeds in the hilly areas, the motorcycle handled them effortlessly. The company claims improved tractability up to the third gear with the engine updates, and this proved true in our tests. The engine ran smoothly at speeds as low as 13 kmph in second gear and 17 kmph in third gear, without any issues. Overall, the close-to-30 hp, Nm output are well-suited for both on-road cruising and off-road excursions.
The suspension setup also performed well, absorbing bumps and potholes with ease. Moreover, the motorcycle’s kerb weight is now 187 kg, thanks to a lighter main cage and overall weight reduction, which has resulted in better maneuverability and the motorcycle now feels noticeably nimble.
