Parents to face strict actions if minor found driving
Parents or guardians found permitting minors to drive without a valid license will face severe penalties. These include fines of up to Rs 25,000, potential legal actions under Section 125 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, and the cancellation of vehicle registration for a period of 12 months. Furthermore, minors caught driving illegally will be barred from obtaining a driving license until they reach the age of 25.
