The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the registration process for 884 Scale 1 Officer vacancies under the Common Recruitment Process for Specialist Officers (IBPS SO 2024). Interested and eligible candidates are requested to visit the official website of IBPS, i.e., ibps.in, for the registration process. According to the official notification, candidates can apply for IBPS SO recruitment 2024 until August 21, 2024.

Candidates can follow these steps to register for IBPS SO recruitment exam 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IBPS, i.e., ibps.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘CRP -SPL -XIV’.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Click on the link that reads, ‘Apply online for Common Recruitment Process under CRP-SPL-XIV’.
Step 5: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application form.
Step 7: Pay the application fee and click on submit.
Step 8: Take a printout of your application for future reference.

IBPS SO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

As per the official notification, a candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India
(ii) a subject of Nepal
(iii) a subject of Bhutan
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
The minimum age of the candidate should be 20 and the maximum age should be 30. However, there are a few relaxations on the same.

IBPS SO Recruitment 2024: Application fee

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories need to pay Rs 175 as the application fee. Candidates belonging to all other categories need to pay Rs 850 as the application fee.
