नई दिल्ली: बांग्लादेश‘s first innings came to an end on the fourth day of the second Test against India, with the visitors being dismissed for 233 runs in 74.2 overs. Mominul Haque stood tall amidst the collapse, remaining unbeaten on 107.
India started their first innings with batting domination. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma scored 29 runs in the first two hours. Jaiswal’s trio of consecutive boundaries in the first over set the stage, while Rohit’s consecutive sixes left the crowd electrified in the second over.

A slice of luck aided Rohit in the first ball of the third over, as Bangladesh failed to appeal a nick.Rohit followed the next ball with another six. Jaiswal continued the party of boundaries in the over, hitting a six and two consecutive fours.
India scored 51 runs in first three overs which is a record for fastest fitty in a Test match.

The post-lunch session saw Bangladesh add a mere 28 runs to their overnight score of 205 for 6, losing their last four wickets in the process. The Indian bowling attack proved to be too strong for the Bangladeshi lower order.
Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the Indian bowlers, claiming three wickets for 50 runs. Akash Deep, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Mohammed Siraj also contributed to the cause, sharing six wickets among them.
During the course of the innings, रवींद्र जडेजा achieved a significant milestone, completing 300 Test wickets.
With a 1-0 lead in the series, India looks to maintain their dominance in the ongoing Test match.
