Mahesh Babu’s involvement in the Telugu version of the film will surely increase the excitement among fans.Mahesh Babu shared, “I have always admired Disney’s blockbuster legacy of entertainment and timeless storytelling. The character of Mufasa appeals to me not only as a loving father guiding his son but as the supreme king of the jungle taking care of his clan. My family means everything to me, and this collaboration with Disney is personally very special, as it is an experience I will cherish with my children! I am looking forward to when my family as well as my fans will be watching Mufasa: The Lion King in Telugu on the big screen on December 20.”
Known for his powerful screen presence, Mahesh Babu will lend his voice to Mufasa, the supreme king of the jungle, who guides his son but also protects his clan.
Following the success of Disney’s 2019 live-action adaptation of ‘The Lion King’, This new chapter, ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’, will look into the legacy of Mufasa, an orphaned cub to the beloved king of the Pride Lands. Alongside Mahesh Babu, the Telugu version will feature industry veterans Brahmanandam as Pumbaa and Ali as Timon, adding a familiar touch to the beloved characters.
The Telugu trailer will be launched on August 26th at 11.07 a.m.
For the uninitiated, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will voice Mufasa in the Hindi version, with his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan lending their voices to Simba and young Mufasa, respectively.
