NEET Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially announced the NEET UG 2024 counselling schedule on its website, mcc.nic.in. The counselling process is tentatively set to begin on August 14, 2024. Registrations for the MCC NEET UG counselling will open in the first week of August, allowing candidates to secure seats under the 15% All India Quota.
This year, registrations will be open for the three main rounds, while the stray vacancy round will be exclusively for candidates who have already registered.
Candidates can participate in the choice filling and locking process from August 16 to August 20 (11:55 pm), with the choice locking option available only from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on August 20. Seat allotment will take place on August 21 and 22, with the results announced on August 23.
In India, pursuing a career in the medical profession, particularly as a physician, is immensely sought after and widely regarded as an esteemed and desirable path. Each year, close to 20 lakh students appear in pre-medical entrance tests to enroll in the country’s top medical colleges.

WB NEET UG 2024 Counselling to Begin Soon
The West Bengal Main Computerised Counselling (WBMCC) will conduct the WBMCC NEET UG Counselling 2024. The official counselling schedule will be released on the WBMCC website at wbmcc.nic.in. This counselling process will manage the allocation of NEET UG seats in West Bengal.
NEET counselling for West Bengal in 2024 will take place in two online rounds. If any seats remain vacant after the second round, a third round will be scheduled. Typically, the mop-up or stray vacancy round occurs offline. Candidates who pass the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) this year will be eligible to participate in the WB counselling process.
